Hello…

I’m Gabriela Tripp. A birth and postpartum doula, and photographer. Since I was a little girl I remember being completely amazed about pregnancy, wondering how it all worked and how a baby could grow inside someone’s belly. It just fascinated me. I guess being a doula was something that was always in me, even before I had the words for it.

After I finishing high school, I knew I wanted to take care of people somehow. So I got my bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences back in Brazil, and after moving to the U.S. in 2019, I worked as an au pair and then a nanny. That’s when I started hearing more about doulas and all the different ways they support families.

Once I decided to try it, everything just fell into place. During training, all those old questions I had about how babies are born and how birth really works came back, and I dove into learning everything I could. The first time I supported a birth, I knew I had found my thing. Watching a baby be born was so special, I don’t even know how to describe it. It just felt right. And now, I honestly can’t imagine doing anything else.
